Held on Thursday evenings, the Rude Dog Time Trial gives one the opportunity to gauge their own progress.  Time trialist leave every minute from the starting line in a race against the clock with no drafting or whining allowed.

RULES: Race will be divided into male and female age groups; a tandem category has been added.  Best 3 times will be used to calculate your average time.  You must complete 3 time trials and work one to qualify for awards.  Must wear a helmet at all times.  Registration closes 15 minutes prior to starting.

A beginner's division has been added for those not time-trialing before.
Minors must have a parent's permission to ride.
Must be a member of the Tyler Bicycle Club.
All USCF (United States Cycling Federation) time trial rules are in effect.
LOCATION: Eastside Drive, Lake Tyler
PARKING: Eastside Park #4
SAFETY: Signs to alert motorists will be placed at various locations.
TIME TRIALIST VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT: ALL racers must volunteer to help with at least one time trial during the season. There will be a sign-up available for racer volunteers before and after each time trial. Four volunteers are needed at each TT. Positions are, timer, flagger, registration/starter, and recorder.
STANDING START: All time trialists will start individually (no "holding" to help the time trialist start). Any volunteers will be placed along the route rather than helping hold the riders at the start.
